Kmplayer 2.9.4.1435 Final & Skins
The KMPlayer is a versatile media player which can cover various types of container format such as VCD, DVD, AVI, MKV, Ogg Theora, OGM, 3GP, MPEG-1/2/4, WMV, RealMedia, and QuickTime among others. It handles a wide range of subtitles and allows you to capture audio, video, and screenshots in many ways. The player provides both internal and external filters with a fully controlled environment in terms of connections to other splitters, decoders, audio/video transform filters and renderers without grappling with the DirectShow merit system. Internal filters are not registered to user's system to keep it from being messed up with system filters. The KMPlayer includes almost all the essential decoders required for media playback. Furthermore, to get beyond the limitation of internal decoders, the external ones such as commercial h.264 decoders or cyberlink/intervideo audio decoders can be specified, so that KMP works optimally by the users' own customization.Download:View:Screenshot.
By AnonymousAwesomeness!I love how it brings out more subtle qualities in music that you can't hear in others. And I don't have to adjust the volume if two files are of vastly different sound levels. It tweaks that for me!Pros: Amazing sound quality.Good picture quality. The ability to make the playlist screen transparent so it doesn't glare and risk burn-in on my monitor. The cool color effects.Cons: So me of the settings are based on a regular keystroke like U, so if it switches files while you're typing, it can mess up your settings.
Just go in to the hotkeys area and disable all settings on letter keys to get around this. Reviewed on July 26, 2010. By AnonymousBest thing ever.Best thing out there. Just a couple of stability issues, doesn't handle folder shortcuts well (which is painful for me, because i use many folder shortcuts), and the fact that pretty much any key does something can screw your viewing experience if you accidentally press something.Nevertheless, it doesn't have a match, and it's an excellent piece of software.Pros: Pretty much eve rything you could think of and more.
Cons: So many options that it's easy to screw up something by accidentally pressing some key. It doesn't handle shortcuts (to folders) well. Some stability issues every now and then. It is by far the greatest thing that got out in the multimedia players it puts all other to shame and the best thing of it all it is free (Don't know why) and even if it wasn't I who torrent most stuff would 99% buy the real thing because as I said it has been with me for more than 3y. And I stopped using any other. If you need a player that will be user friendly gr eat video and audio properties and no codex hassle this is the one for you.
Cheers to developers of this legendary software. I promise you you won't regret downloading this. Pros: everything from skin to functionality. By AnonymousWhy are programmers so arrogant? The program automatically installs the ASK.com toolbar, and I didn't see a check box to stop the process (though - to be fair - maybe that's because I use big fonts on my machine, and it was buried somewhere). Fortunately, I was saved by my anti-virus program, which gave me the chance to block its installation. That wasn't so bad.
What I absolutely hated is tha t the program, without asking, 'stole' all video associations and renamed lots of registry entries (e.g. Mpg File became KMPlayermpg file - or something like that). And the uninstall was anything but clean on my WinXP machine.
I spent almost an hour cleaning up the registry by hand. My tests showed it to be a good player, but I can live without it. MPC and FFD show are fine for my needs, and they don't take over any associations. Even commercial products usually at least ask first. I can't understand the arrogance or insecurity of programmers who think that having their program rename lots of registry entries is acceptable or makes their work look impressive. I'd say - on the contrary - it makes them look unprofessional and untrustworthy. I wouldn't use this program, no matter how well it functions.
Kmplayer Windows 10 Skin
Pros: It's free. Cons: Much too intrusive in system. Reviewed on June 4, 2010. By AnonymousDebrucool. This had been the best video player ever amongst the dozens of other video player. Its gives its user multiple unique facilities to work with, such as 'resync subtitles', positioning the alignment of subtitles, and innumerable, very easy to use within easy to reach shortcut keys. And its great appearance along with its sleek facilities makes it one of my personal fa vorite video player for a long time.
Pros: Its multiple unique features and handy shortcuts for usage makes it awesome. Cons: It should make a better working version of itself for the operating system Ubuntu, which I hope would work as efficiently as its Window's version. Reviewed on May 26, 2010. By AnonymousGood Stuff!Definitely a 10! There are so many programs out there that either do not do what is advertized, or do not do it the way described. This is easy, trim, and capable software.
It even allows me to use the stream from my video cards to play video on my computer without having to start my video capture software to see the stream. As far as I am concerned, it should be used for all video formats, but thats my opinion only. I can also see where many might not want ANY program to hijack settings until directly specified, because I am one of those.
Maybe for future releases, give the option to take over any or all formats during the install.? Pros: 1) Easy to use. 2) Packed with features. 3) Small footprint, quick to load. Cons: It doesnt take over WMV's by default and have to use 'open with' browse for KMPLAYER, and choose to always open with it. Reviewed on May 4, 2010.
By AnonymousBetter even than VLC.There are a very few video players around that just do everything, and KM Player is one of them. For instance, if you're downloading a big video file, tell it to play the XXX.TMP file and it will bring it up in streaming mode. It will even handle an mp4 video as it comes down.I did a test on an old HP omnibook waiting to be thrown on the scrapheap - a very low powered mac hine - and it coped with an mp4 video.
Pros: Usability - excellent user interface Very small footprint - good for low-powered notebooks Appearance is excellent Plays anything! Cons: I use bookmarks a lot and find ALShow better, with it's separate bookmark file and neat interface.
This is quite important, actually. When I've asked it to play something impossible, it has seriously screwed up memory - necessiting a switchoff reviewed on March 26, 2010. By AnonymousNot so many player have custom screen size and lots of features. Many players I've known mostly don't have custom screen size, which is a great feature of KMPlayer, you can watch movie exactly as it was mean to be (no strange people face). Also it have lots of features, like audio sync, subtitle explorer, a good internal audio mixer, etc.Pros: Too many features to be described, you don't need an ything else to play your favorite movies.
Cons: None at the moment. Reviewed on February 20, 2010. By AnonymousTo: Elena.Maybe you should be a little more aggressive with your beta testing. When I conducted a search for 'udRemove.exe' on Google, it returned 72 out of 72 “Mal-ware” associated links.(Results 1 - 72 of 72 for udRemove.exe. (0.30 seconds))Not good at all, especially since your future in the software business is being put on the line by so many well known compute r help sites.
If your program does contain potentially malicious software or weaknesses, say it upfront and be proud of what you have done by allowing your software users to make an informed decision when using your software in it's beta formats. No one says that just because there are “Open Source” software(s) out there that you have to make yours “Open Source.” Actually some folks don't mind putting up with a bit of Adware in order to use or beta test software, tell them up front.;-) The alternative could include a visit with your local department of corrections where the term “Malware” takes on a whole new spelling and meaning, “Malwear.” Pros: Works but needs more development!;-) Cons: Read the EULA on all software that you download / install carefully, know your machine and the installed programs. Know how to rid yourself of installed programs before you install them. Reviewed on February 6, 2010. By AnonymousTo anybodyfrom10.Dear anybodyfrom10,thanks for your comment.
